"One of the first questions upon meeting a stranger is, “What kind of music do you like?” Then the customary response being, “Everything!”ÖBullshit. That means you either haven’t thought about it enough or you don’t want to talk to that person about music. But, if you do like everything, then you should get a little bit of Lil’ Bit & The Customatics in your collection. There is an authenticity to their songs and performance that is missing in most rock-a-billy recordings. Or, as they like to call it, “Heartbreakin’ Honky Tonk-a-billy.” And it’s true. There is an adequate amount of pain in Lil’ Bit’s voice that adds intimacy to the fun we are already having with this music. Guitarist Brian Duarte made his guitar sound like a chicken on the track “Red Hen Hop”. That alone sold it for me"
Dexter Reed, Music On Speed

"They're a hot little rockabilly band, I think you're gonna like'em...
if you like good, fun rockabilly and country sounding music, you can't
go wrong with (their) CD"
- Bill Conner, the Hill Country Hayride
92.1 Radio New Braunfels 6/8/03

" In rockabilly, a genre dominated, in these parts, by males, Lil' Bit is a diminutive, and dynamite, breath of rocking air. And the Customatics cats, with their roots country and roots rock 'n' roll, are no slouches. [They] are an
excellent addition to the rockabilly world. Their fiery mixture
of rockabilly and real-deal country rocks with a real roll"
-Jim Beal, Jr. San Antonio Express News

"Hey Folks-get that CD of [theirs]..whew! Hotter
than a .39 cent pistol! Good ole 'Texas Music'....
reminds me of my days in San Antonio. Lil Bit can
lay it on ya' for sure!"
-Ronnie Haig
Rockabilly Hall of Famer

"I love the country flavor they gave to the rockabilly songs on the CD. It was very close to the 50's rockabilly sound..... I loved it - and for what it's worth, tell the Customatics, and especially their female lead singer, that Roc LaRue said it's a great CD."
-Roger "Roc" LaRue
Rockabilly Hall of Famer

"I received the new CD, Short & Sweet!, by Lil' Bit & The
Customatics on Saturday. They are terrific! 11 tracks
in all, and as you listen from 1 to 11 they just get better and
better culminating in My Boy Elvis.
I'll be adding them to my playlist and.....
I wish them the greatest success."
